Iain is a highly regarded leader, with a 30-year career path that spans Product, Transformation and Technology. Spending his career prior to founding Dowi Systems at Finastra, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, ING Barings and Swiss Bank Corporation.

At Finastra he was responsible for the Trade line of business, where he oversaw the Product and Engineering teams for Trade Innovation who delivered multi-award-winning functionality and drove double digit year on year software revenue growth.

Prior to this he served as both the Product Owner and Delivery Lead within the Commercial Servicing Journey (Agile Lab) at Lloyds Banking Group. Where the lab successfully transformed the overall customer and colleague experience in the servicing end-to-end journeys.

With roles that have spanned, Software Engineer, Programme Director, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager he brings a rarely found depth of experience, some callouts from this.

· Programme Director of a Core Banking System Migration, described as a “once-in-a-generation activity” by the Group CEO and CIO.

· Director of Cross-border payments for a Tier 1 Bank, processing 500 Bn-EUR per day.

· Chief Operating Officer building out a greenfield COO group to support a 600+ FTE and 255M-EUR Infrastructure group.

· Strategy definition and implementation for the Trade Line of Business for the third largest Enterprise Software fintech in the world.

Iain holds a Ph.D. and B.Eng from the University of Glasgow plus a MBA from Henley Business School, where he is also a mentor.
